45 Ton 2-truck locomotives were used for the heaviest industrial switching applications. They are still occasionally encountered in local service. Our 45 Ton 2-truck center cab switcher is typical of this handsome class of motive power.

RMI produces this locomotive in an electric drive configuration using 2ea. 5/8 HP electric motors, a side rod version, and a gas hydraulic version using a 9.5 HP Honda engine with 2 hydraulic drive motors.
