Locomotive MU Cable

This is the Multi-Unit (MU) cable to run two RMI electric locomotive as one. It is designed to connect two independent locomotives to run of a single controller.

The cable has the female plugs for connecting two units to gather, it has the slave circuit built into it to tell the second locomotive's power module to be a slave to the first unit. The first or master unit is the one with the controller attached. It also connects both battery banks to run as a single set. In other words both units will run off both sets of batteries. If you have sound unit, the cable will allow thru signals to control the sound in the other unit. (depending on your locomotives internal wiring at the time of building you may need to hook up additional wires.)
