As industrial diesel engines approached 1,000 hp and their reliability reached high levels, switchers started to be used for local and short line duties. These capable units featured more sophisticated trucks, allowing higher speed operations.Our rugged TRANSFER SWITCHERS offer these same extended capabilities in both electric and gas/hydraulic versions.
